What We've Been Up To...

I know, I know. I'm terrible at this! However, I have two wonderful LOCAL friends now blogging, so hopefully that will inspire me. We shall see. Here's our last few months in pictures...

We met up with some childhood friends of Phil's for dinner at his parents' house. Jacqui and Tricia are twins, and they were in youth group with Phil in middle school. I had never met them, and we had a blast hanging out and laughing. We hope to visit with them again sometime soon. Or maybe a trip to Nashville is in order?

On May 9th, Mary-Grace finished up her first year of Nursery School. We absolutely love this place! Jacob went there for two years before we began homeschooling. This year was such a great experience for Gracie, but we have decided to keep her home with us next year to learn at home with Jacob. More on that later.

Here's a shot of all the children singing and performing with Dr. Coghill. Mary-Grace eats this stuff up!

At the end of May, we had our annual waterslide day at the Thomas' house. The slide was a bit different this year, so the kids took awhile to try it out. And the weather was crazy cool for May, so the sliders froze their tails off! Nevertheless, a good time was had by all, but I did make my kids get out of the water when their lips turned purple!

Here's a shot of Micah and Ava playing "monkey see, monkey do". They are hilarious when they are together.

Our sweet boy, the Lego King!

Mary-Grace loves to dress up, and she decided that this dress needed a shirt under it because it's "kinda not modest, Mom!" Love that girl!

Apparently, Ava does NOT share the love for dress up....not yet anyway!
She is, however, PASSIONATE about babies. Real ones especially, but the dolls will do in a pinch!

Obviously, I didn't start chore-training the older two earlier enough! Ava loves to help empty the dishwasher. What started out as a free-for-all toss the silverware into the drawer, quickly became actual correct placement!

Okay, I think this will just have to be a series of posts because Blogger's layout is giving me fits.
